Marlins beat Mets 4-3 in 11 innings
After pitching six innings in a 4-3, 11-inning loss to the Miami Marlins, Dickey revealed he has pitched since late April with a strained oblique. In his bid for his 21st victory, Dickey left after six innings trailing 3-0, but the Mets rallied with three runs in the eighth to tie the game. David Wright hit an RBI single, a wild pitch scored another run and Scott Hairston followed with an infield single to drive in the tying run. [...] baseman Gil Velazquez helped Turner by twice robbing the Mets of hits with nifty catches. Greenberg received a standing ovation from the modest crowd and his teammates when he stepped to the plate as a pinch-hitter in the sixth. With two outs in the inning, the Marlins scored on consecutive singles by Reyes, Stanton and Lee.
