(AP) ? Police say an armed man in suburban Philadelphia was shot by borough police trying to take him into custody to be committed for mental health treatment. Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler told The Philadelphia Inquirer (http://bit.ly/R56ho0 ) that the 46-year-old man pointed a .357 Magnum at officers who arrived at his New Hope residence Saturday night to try to take him to a facility for a mental health evaluation.
